Summer Camp at Heritage Montessori.

We have some fun plans for our summer sessions. Camp is open to ages 6 weeks to elementary, with a June session and a July session. Children can attend one or both.

In the classrooms

A new theme each camp week.

These weekly themes are specific to summer camp, not the regular school year. Each week we have a different theme that class lessons and activities are centered around. A few we run are below, with more added across the summer.

A day at summer camp

Through the day, children have Montessori work time, special themed activities, outdoor play, lunch and snacks, and a rest period.

Highlights of the summer sessions.

Alongside the weekly themes, here is what fills the summer.

Splash day every Friday, with a water slide and water balloons.
Snow cone days through the summer.
A cooking class every week.
Physical activities and games.
Arts and crafts every week.
Science projects every week.
The Bubble Truck, a yard full of soapy bubbles with music to play in.
The Creature Teacher, with exotic animals like a kangaroo, a chinchilla, and a chameleon.
A S.T.E.A.M. class where children build things using robotics.
A visit from the local fire department, with a fire safety talk and a tour of the firetruck and ambulance.

Open to ages 6 weeks to elementary.

We run a June session and a July session, and children can attend one or both. The day mixes Montessori work time, the week's themed activities, outdoor play, lunch and snacks, and a rest period.

We open at 7:00 AM and close at 6:00 PM for working families.
